Lufthansa Systems revenue management system for Sky Express

Russian low-fare carrier Sky Express is to implement Lufthansa Systems' ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt revenue management solution, with the companies having signed a five-year contract.

Lufthansa Systems says that ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt is tailored to the needs of mid-size airlines and low-fare carriers and allows them to forecast market demand better, analyse competitor’s fares and respond with more flexible pricing.

The company claims that by switching to ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt a typical mid-size airline can increase its revenues by up to $6 million a year.
