R66 now being offered for sale

Robinson's new R66 turbine helicopter is now being offered for sale.
Robinson customers have been told the California-based manufacturer is now accepting orders for new aircraft which first flew in 2007.
The base price with standard equipment is $770,000 and the required non-refundable deposit is $75,000. Customers have been told that serial numbers will not be assigned and delivery dates will not be confirmed until after FAA certification is complete.
The R66 will be sold through the Robinson dealer network and RHC is currently accepting R66 dealer applications.
The R66 was announced in March 2007 and is the first Robinson product to be powered by a turbine engine, the Rolls-Royce RR300, a modernised derivative of the Rolls-Royce Model 250 engine. The aircraft will be on display at this years Heli-Expo in Houston.
